October 2025: Speaking at the WMO Investor Forum

The WMO Investor Forum "Weathering the Future" was a high-level event held in Geneva on October 27-28, 2025, to discuss and attract investment for WMO-led initiatives. Tenke Zoltani spoke about the role of banking, finance and insurance in promoting risk management and concrete investment opportunites relying on WMO’s data backbone, alongside panelists from Howden and Blue Orchard. A major outcome was the introduction of the "WMO Commons", a new financing mechanism supported by Better Finance to support weather, climate, and water data and services. The forum aimed to strengthen early warning systems, climate resilience, and risk management by bringing together public and private sector partners to mobilize capital.
